Job PostingEssential duties and responsibilities include gathering all materials necessary to perform job, operating all blasting machines, sandblasting all parts correctly, operating a Wheel-a-brator, operating a drill press, operating a table-mounted router, recording count of parts and putting parts in basket, daily records elapsed work time on labor ticket, reporting to supervisor need for maintenance and repairs on all department equipment, learning customer parts by sight, operating a forklift, and performing all tasks as required of a Safety Sensitive position.Other duties and responsibilities include maintaining a clean work area, moving parts/inserts for other departments as well as Sandblast, basic verbal and written communication skills, basic mathematical skills, reading comprehension skills, attention to detail and accuracy, reasoning and problem-solving skills.Qualification requirements include experience in manufacturing preferred, experience with router and grinding mill preferred.Physical requirements include prolonged standing/walking/bending/twisting/crouching and squatting, awkward postures of neck, shoulder, wrist, elbow or fingers, occasional work in confined spaces or close quarters, use of vibrating tools, ability to hear, ability to speak clearly, requires wearing a respirator, repetitive motion of finger, wrist, elbow, shoulder or neck movement, occasional forceful hand grasp, precise dexterity, reading comprehension, lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally, lifting from floor to waist, frequent pushing/pulling forces up to/over 40 pounds, reaching from shoulder level or below/over shoulder and while holding objects weighing 10 pounds, seeing to distinguish colors/prepare/analyze figures, prepare/review documents, visually inspect and measure/assemble at a close distance, frequent use of forklifts, power tools, slicing/cutting equipment, machinery and machinery that produces excessive heat.Work environment/environmental conditions include ability to endure a smoky/dusty work environment, exposure to extreme cold/heat for more than an hour, high noise level.Safety sensitive position: This position is designated as a Safety Sensitive Position as defined by the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act.
