Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused Blade Grinder Helper to join a growing manufacturing team. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and is willing to learn.
The Blade Grinder Helper will assist with grinding and finishing metal blades, removing rough edges, and preparing completed parts for inspection.
Responsibilities
* Grind and smooth metal blades using designated equipment
* Remove burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections
* Visually inspect blades for quality and consistency
* Handle and move materials safely
* Follow work instructions and production requirements
* Maintain a clean and organized work area
* Wear required personal protective equipment
* Follow all company safety procedures
* Assist other production team members as needed
Qualifications
* Previous grinding or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required
* Willingness to learn and receive hands-on training
* Comfortable working with machinery and metal components
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to stand throughout the shift and perform repetitive tasks
* Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
* Ability to complete required pre-employment screening
