Black Engagement District ManagerReports To: National Black Engagement DirectorDepartment: Cycle of EngagementWork Location: MI-08, OH-09, OH-13, VA-02Job Type: Full-Time, Salary ExemptSupervisory Responsibilities: NoThe Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) recruits Democratic candidates and supports Democratic campaigns with a variety of services including field operations, fundraising support, communications assistance, digital strategy, research support and management consulting. We look for talented and hard-working professionals who are committed to electing Democrats and winning the House majority.Due to the cyclic nature of our organization, all positions are subject to separation at the end of the election cycle.Position Summary: The DCCC is seeking experienced Black Engagement District Managers to work on competitive congressional races in the assigned district(s) for the 2026 cycle. This role will work closely with DCCC Engagement Directors and the Organizing team to engage, persuade, mobilize, and turnout Black voters.
They are responsible for building relationships with community leaders and stakeholders, growing grassroots infrastructure, recruiting volunteers, and engaging in voter mobilization efforts.This position is part of a collective bargaining unit.Responsibilities:Developing a district specific outreach plan informed by demographics, cultural nuances and organizational partnershipsDevelop cultural ties within the districts, grow existing regional infrastructure, and cultivate diverse political talent through relationship building with community leaders.
