Bishop Way Peer Educator
Bishop Way Peer Educators are passionate about empowering their peers to find balance in their wellness and promote wellness initiatives on campus. The peer education program focuses on the five dimensions of wellness, supports others in responsible decision making, and role models the Bishop Way to encourage campus-wide change for wellness and prevention.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Facilitate prevention education workshops and presentations
- Plan, coordinate, and execute Bishop Way signature programs
- Create social norming marketing and other Bishop Way advertising materials to educate and inform the OWU community about Bishop Way programs and resources
- Attend various training sessions to gain knowledge to share with OWU community
Qualifications:
- Interest in promoting wellness education and prevention programming for the Ohio Wesleyan community
- 2.5 minimum GPA
- Must be in good standing with the Office of Student Integrity and Community Standards
- Completion of the Bishop Way Peer Educator training course (.25 Credit Hours)

- Experience working on a team and collaborating with on and off campus partners
- Event planning experience
