Environmental Service EquipmentNerve Stimulators, Nutrition Pumps, Respiratory Equipment, Vital Signs MonitorsVarious other equipment--as assignedSupport services for equipment at Independence Health System Medcare unitsRepair other electronic/electrical hospital equipment which includes the following: Nurse Call systemsKnowledge of computer networking for medical device integration to the Independence Health EMR network is encouraged (but not required)Other duties as assignedCompetency and Experience (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)Required Qualifications/ExperienceAssociate Degree in Biomedical/Electrical/Computer/IT Information Technology.OR two (2) year trade school with valid electronic certification with three (3) years of electronic experience.Strong leadership ability, good organizational skills, independent and critical thinking skills, sound judgment and knowledge of legal aspects in the Biomedical Engineering field.Strong ability to communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience.Preferred Qualifications/ExperienceCertified by A.A.M.I.
