Environmental Service EquipmentNerve Stimulators, Nutrition Pumps, Respiratory Equipment, Vital Signs MonitorsVarious other equipment--as assignedMust support other activities related to equipment, such as electrical safety in-services, pre-purchase evaluations, user department training literature review, service contracts, device recalls and parts ordering.Must provide support services for equipment at Independence Health System Medcare units.Repair other electronic/electrical hospital equipment which includes the following: Nurse call systems, Intercom systems, Paging systems.Other duties as assigned.Required QualificationsAssociate Degree in Biomedical/Electrical/Computer/IT Information Technology.OR two (2) year trade school with valid electronic certification with three (3) years of electronic experience.Strong leadership ability, good organizational skills, independent and critical thinking skills, sound judgment.Strong ability to communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience.Preferred QualificationsCertified by A.A.M.I.
