To support the Maine CDC Infectious Disease Prevention Program, the full-time Biomedical Prevention Services Coordinator will develop and coordinate statewide HIV prevention initiatives, including PrEP and PEP programs, while engaging with community organizations and healthcare providers in a hybrid work environment. Key responsibilities Develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate statewide HIV prevention initiatives focused on PrEP and PEP access Serve as a primary point of contact for PrEP/PEP activities, building relationships with healthcare providers and community organizations Provide technical assistance and conduct education and outreach activities related to HIV prevention and status-neutral care Required qualifications Master's degree in Public Health, Community Health Education, Public Administration, or a related field Two years of experience in community or health education program planning, development, implementation, or evaluation Experience developing or implementing HIV prevention, PrEP, or PEP programs is preferred Knowledge of federal, state, and local public health policies and programs Experience working with diverse communities and multidisciplinary partners
