Job Title: BMET II (Anesthesia Focused)
Contract Length: 6 months
Location: 22 S Greene St, Baltimore, MD 21201
Start Date: ASAP
*This will be a travel contract where Medasource provides lodging/travel/per-diem for the contract period.
Core Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) or equivalent Clinical Engineering role.
- Strong hands-on experience with anesthesia equipment, including anesthesia machines/workstations, ventilators, gas delivery systems, and associated monitoring equipment.
- Experience performing preventive maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance (CM), electrical safety testing, calibration, inspection, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Experience supporting a broad range of biomedical/medical equipment in an acute-care or hospital environment.
- Ability to interpret schematics, service manuals, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer documentation.
- Experience documenting work orders, PMs, repairs, parts, and equipment history in a CMMS/clinical engineering asset management system.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment using appropriate test equipment and diagnostic tools.
- Familiarity with hospital clinical environments, equipment safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication skills when working with nurses, physicians, respiratory therapy, anesthesia, clinical engineering, IT, and vendors.

- Experience supporting ORs, ICU, ED, PACU, or procedural areas
- Experience working with networked medical devices / medical device connectivity
- Experience with CMMS platforms such as ServiceNow, TMS, Nuvolo, or similar
