Bindery Operator

Equipment OperatorTaylor Corporation is looking for an Equipment Operator.Your ResponsibilitiesPrepare and operate printing press equipment in compliance with job specifications and company quality standards and procedures.Perform daily, weekly and monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output.Prepare inks for proper color and consistency.Check paper for correct type, size, color and quantity.Verify plates are set up in the correct format.Inspect printed materials throughout production runs to ensure quality standards are met.Coordinate with the Production Team to prioritize work and adjust schedules to meet changing deadlines and production requirements.Maintain knowledge of equipment operation and safety requirements.Your ShiftMonday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pmYou Must HaveAbility to set adjustable mechanisms to required tolerances.Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.High degree of mechanical aptitude.Good reading and comprehension skills.Requirements Within This PositionAbility to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.Regularly required to remain in a stationary position.Constantly operates machinery and handles products, including printed materials.Frequently required to move throughout the facility.Regularly moves up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry).We Would Also PreferAbility to work with very close tolerances.Ability to effectively communicate with team members.High degree of analytical skills.Good color discernment.About Taylor CorporationOne of the largest print and communications firms in North America, Taylor's family of companies provides a diverse set of products, services and technologies that address the toughest business challenges.
