Bindery Machine Operator – Print & Direct Mail

We offer career opportunities in print and mail production, with medical, dental, vision insurance and a competitive 401K.Location: 605 Territorial Dr Bolingbrook, IL 60440 Work Hours: 5pm - 5am, with expected additional hours/weekends mandatory Pay: Starting at $19/hr based on skills and experienceJob ResponsibilitiesOperating and set up of Guillotine cutters and FoldersPerform emergency and daily equipment maintenance to devise as requiredComplete departmental daily tasks including but not limited to housekeeping, communication and operationsData entry of jobs being processes in Amsive ERP (Monarch)Communicate to Lead, Supervisor, Manager and TeamAssist in special duties and projects as required by ManagementQualificationsExperience in high volume direct mail, transactional print, or statement/mail manufacturing1+ years operating bindery equipment in a commercial print or direct mail environmentAptitude for accuracy and a meticulous eye for detailExperience reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsAbility to document production activities and send/reply to e-mail correspondenceAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimalsHigh School/GED education or combined education/experienceSupervisory Responsibilities: Not responsible for supervising other employees.Work Environment: Position operates in a regulated manufacturing print/mail production facility Physical Demands:Stand and walk for up to 12 hours, with frequent bending, kneeling, and reachingMust be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 poundsPerform repetitive motions in a fast-paced production environmentAmsive is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
