This job is for the South Plant.As an Assistant Machine Operator, you will:Set up, Adjust & Operate a single piece of MachineryParticipate in training to prepare to promote into a Lead operator positionInspect equipment for safety issuesMonitor quality, output and productivityLearn to utilize tools to measure and adjust machine to target levelsLearn and engage in preventative maintenance tasks as requiredAssist lead operator with providing guidance to crew membersWork in a team environment and cross-train with othersPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift 20-50 poundsAbility to stand for the duration of your shiftQualifications:Ability to do basic math and computer knowledgeAt Lakeside Book, we value craftsmanship and collaboration by encouraging employees to improve their skills and capabilities.
