Seeking BIM QA/QC Field Engineers for a large-scale, high-tech advanced manufacturing construction project in Boise, ID. This person will work directly in the field to ensure MEP installations completed by subcontractors match BIM/design models and LOD 500 requirements.
The role involves reviewing models in Procore and Navisworks, validating installation locations, tracking revisions, and coordinating corrections with Construction Managers, Superintendents, and trade partners.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of field QA/QC experience in construction, engineering, architecture, or AEC
- Experience supporting MEP scopes such as mechanical, electrical, plumbing, piping, or HVAC
- Experience on mega-projects, hyperscale, semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, data center, or similar high-tech construction
- Experience reviewing BIM models and revisions using Procore or similar software
- Ability to compare field installations against design models and coordinate discrepancies
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Preferred: Bachelor’s in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or related field
- Preferred: Experience navigating models in Navisworks or similar BIM software
