Mechanical BIM/CADD TechnicianThe Mechanical BIM/CADD Technician role is an on site position based in our Boise, Idaho office. What does this role involve day to day? You will work under the direction of senior engineers and designers to translate design concepts into accurate, buildable drawings. What will I create? Using Autodesk MEP Revit and AutoCAD, you will produce three dimensional models, construction documents, plans, schedules, and details for HVAC and plumbing systems, along with take offs and as built documentation from site surveys. What does success look like?
You will become a reliable source of accurate, well coordinated drawings that engineers and designers can build on with confidence, while sharpening your technical skills alongside a growing mechanical team.This role also gives you exposure to quality control, cross discipline coordination, and will help in building a strong technical foundation for growth within the mechanical team.Position Salary Range*The expected salary range for this position is $20 to $25 per hour.Required Qualifications**Associate degree or higher in computer technology, drafting and design, integrated arts, animation and modeling, or a related field0 to 5 years of job related experienceBasic knowledge of Autodesk MEP Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookMathematical and systems design skillsPreferred Qualifications**Prior exposure to mechanical, HVAC, or plumbing system drawingsFamiliarity with construction documentation workflows in an AEC environmentDid you know that some people hold back on applying to jobs if they don't meet 100% of the listed requirements?
