Billing System AdministratorAdministration of DIT billing system and maintaining NetPlus billing application. Development of analysis programs and procedures to evaluate vendor source data. Cataloging of unused vendor billing data for potential future use. Monitoring of system activity to detect unusual exceptions. Assessment of application performance and recommendation of improvements. Daily review of application's billing data for correctness and completeness.
Collaboration with Service Engineers, Analysts, and Service Owners on process changes. Validation of changes in the billing process. Maintenance of detailed records of application performance. Execution of month-end processing of billing data. Support of customer inquiry/request tracking and resolution. Management of incidents, problems, changes, service requests and customer consultation.
Escalation and communication of customer issues to management. Maintenance and creation of reports within NetPlus. Administration of SAS and IBM IZPCA Mainframe Enterprise Applications. Monitoring and support of SAS 9.4 and IBM IZPCA in production and test environments. Processing of metric input log data for multiple applications. Administration of periodic scheduled maintenance and vendor correction fixes.
Understanding of DIT major software component data input feeds. Analysis and debugging of problems and implementation of changes. Development of programs to generate reports for IZPCA using Cognos Analytics. Other duties as assigned.
