Billing SpecialistValhalla, New YorkPosition OverviewAs a Billing Coordinator/Specialist with Rectangle Health, you will support the Billing Manager in managing high-volume billing operations across a large customer base. The Billing Coordinator is responsible for handling billing case queues, processing customer invoices, identifying discrepancies in billing data, and delivering timely and accurate resolutions.This role requires the ability to work cross-functionally with internal departments and customers to ensure accurate and efficient billing outcomes. The ideal candidate will develop a strong understanding of Rectangle Health's billing processes and systems, perform detailed data analysis, and reconcile customer information across Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and NetSuite.Primary Job Duties:Manage billing case queues, reconciling billing changes to the general ledger and creating cases as necessary.Ensure customers are billed accurately for services offered.Issue invoices and distribute them electronically and on time.Communicate cross-functionally with other departments to resolve billing issues, serving as a point of contact for billing-related inquiries from clients and internal stakeholders.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records (customer information, payments received, etc.).Perform support tasks to maintain smooth billing operations in a fast-paced environment.Assist the Billing Manager and Billing Associates with organizational projects and additional tasks as needed.Embrace and track department KPIs, using them to measure performance and drive accountabilityMinimum Qualifications:2–3+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a related high-volume transactional environment.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with demonstrated experience analyzing and manipulating large datasets.Experience identifying, investigating, and resolving billing or data discrepancies within complex datasets.Experience managing high-volume workflows, case queues, or transactional processing environments.Ability to independently diagnose issues, determine root cause, and implement corrective actions.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to escalate issues, risks, and blockers in a timely manner.Ability to commute to and work onsite at our Valhalla/White Plains, NY office 4–5 days per weekPreferred Qualifications:Bachelors DegreeExperience with NetSuite (strongly preferred)Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systemsBackground in fintech, healthcare, or high-volume billing environmentsExperience working in cross-functional environments with competing prioritiesCompensation & Benefits:$60,000 – $75,000 annual base salary (commensurate with experience)Competitive Medical Health Plans, Low, Mid, High.
