This individual will work in collaboration with the Clinic Director (CD) to carry out efficient clinic procedures. The BSC-I position is responsible for supporting the mission, vision, and values of Upstream Rehabilitation.Responsibilities:Core responsibilities Collect all money due at the time of serviceConvert referrals into evaluationsSchedule patient visitsCustomer ServiceCreate an inviting clinic atmosphere.Make all welcome calls Monitor and influence arrival rate through creation of a great customer experiencePractice Management Manage schedule efficientlyManage document routingManage personal overtimeManage non-clinical documentationManage depositsManage caseload, D/C candidate, progress note, and insurance reportingMonitor clinic inventoryTraining Complete quarterly compliance training.Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalentCommunication skills – must be able to relate well to Business Office and Field leadershipAbility to multitask, organizational detail, ability to meet deadlines, work with little to no supervisionAs a member of a team, must possess efficient time management and presentation skillsExperience 1+ years with 3 preferable experience in Revenue Cycle, Medicare, and Commercial Insurance in a high?production environment.Claim Follow-Up: Researching, tracking, and resolving unpaid, denied, or pending claims with insurance companies.Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance reimbursement processes.Strong verbal and written communication for negotiating with insurance payers and patientsAbility to use Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, medical billing software, and Microsoft Office.High attention to detail and ability to handle stressful situations.This job description is not an all-inclusive list of all duties that may be required of the incumbent and is subject to change at any time with or without notice.
