Key responsibilities Focus efforts on increasing cash flow and reducing bad debt through effective claims management Manage appeals and denial processes in accordance with payer guidelines, ensuring timely resolution Evaluate and respond to billing inquiries from patients or their representatives to resolve issues efficiently Required qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or healthcare, with a preference for laboratory insurance billing Working knowledge of coding systems such as CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS, along with relevant medical policies Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with medical billing software Experience in understanding and interpreting EOBs and payer advice/remark codes
