Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a billing team of 5-10 people
- Help build and scale the billing department to support added volume from recent acquisitions
- Oversee billing cycles to ensure accuracy and timely delivery
- Reconcile billing and customer account issues and manage escalations through resolution
- Analyze large data exports from multiple systems using Excel
- Make independent decisions based on a strong understanding of process flow
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to keep billing aligned with business needs
- Support the planned transition to a single ERP platform (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central)
- Maintain procedural documentation and train the team on terminology, deadlines, and best practices
Requirements
- Prior supervisory experience required
- Experience in a billing or operations-focused finance environment
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong problem-solving skills with the confidence to handle escalations and work independently
- A process improvement mindset and comfort with change in a growing organization
