Billing CoordinatorRubin Rudman is seeking a full-time Billing Coordinator to assist in all aspects related to billing. The successful candidate is detail-oriented, organized and self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills.ResponsibilitiesMonitor and process daily billing workflow tickets and respond promptly and professionallyReview, edit and finalize pre-bills in response to requestsProcess write-ups, write-downs, and bill adjustments approved by department chairsApply retainer funds, unallocated and/or credits as directed by attorneysCoordinate with the other departments to ensure all services are accurately billedResearch, resolve, and respond to billing discrepancies and escalate issuesUpdate billing profiles on client and matter level (rates changes, exceptions, close matters)Interact and communicate with clients, attorneys, paralegals and administrative staff to provide solution-oriented customer serviceAssist with accounting and billing projects, including system implementation, data cleanup, updates/changes in systemsProvide general administrative support including filing and may perform back-up duties for other positions within the accounting work groupQualificationsAssociate degree; Bachelor's degree preferredA minimum of two years of billing experience, legal industry preferredHigh level of accuracy, accountability and attention to detailMust be able to multitask and prioritize assignmentsExcellent communication, research, problem solving and time management skillsAble to build relationships with internal departments and comfortable talking to all levelsIntermediate Excel skills and working knowledge of OfficeExperience using Elite or Aderant is a plusCompensationThe firm's expected salary range for this position is $60,000 – 75,000 annually.
