Job Summary:

• Post payments from patients and third-party payers.
• Handle finance-related tasks including lockbox files and data entry.
• Evaluate and verify Explanation of Benefit statements.

Responsibilities:

• Post payments, adjust accounts, and process incoming payments.
• Verify write-offs, scan documents, and confirm refunds.
• Identify payer issues and perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Payment Posting Specialist in a hospital or medical office.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with payer vendor websites.
• Self-starter capable of working independently at home, with attention to detail and HIPAA compliance.
