Responsible for coordinating professional billing activities, the full-time remote Billing and Collections Coordinator will manage good faith estimates and pre-service payments for self-pay and uninsured patients while utilizing Epic tools to ensure compliance with the No Surprise Billing Act. Key responsibilities: Complete the good faith estimate process in Epic for scheduled self-pay services and uninsured patients Communicate with patients to process payments prior to service dates and coordinate out-of-network authorizations Act as a liaison between patients, physicians, and clinical staff to facilitate billing activities and ensure compliance Required qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent certification Five years of experience in billing or insurance Proficiency in using Epic tools for billing activities
