Billing Analyst – Contract to Hire
Location: Matawan, NJ
Schedule: On-site, Monday–Friday
Contract Rate: $30/hour on W2
Permanent Salary After Conversion: Approximately $60,000/year
About the Opportunity
We are looking for a Billing Analyst to join a growing team in Matawan, NJ. This is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity for someone with experience in billing, invoice processing, Excel, and SAP or similar accounting systems.
This is a great long-term opportunity for a billing professional looking to grow with an established organization and potentially transition into a permanent position.
What You'll Do
- Process and review customer invoices on a daily basis.
- Ensure invoices are accurate and processed on time.
- Review vendor invoices and ensure charges are properly coded.
- Use Excel for billing reports, tracking, and data analysis.
- Research and resolve billing and invoice discrepancies.
- Assist with monthly billing and account reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate customer billing information and records.
- Work with Accounts Payable, Purchasing, and Project Managers on invoice-related questions.
- Assist with billing adjustments and customer inquiries.
- Identify opportunities to improve billing accuracy and efficiency.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, or related accounting experience.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Experience with SAP or another ERP/accounting system preferred.
- Good understanding of billing and basic accounting processes.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
