Bilingual Registered Behavior Technican (RBT)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role requires a strong commitment to providing quality care and support, utilizing applied behavior analysis techniques to promote positive behavioral changes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
• Educate clients and their families about behavioral strategies and interventions.
• Monitor client progress and document behavioral data accurately in accordance with medical documentation standards.
• Provide support in daily living activities to enhance clients' independence.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations while handling sensitive information.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in behavioral therapy.

Experience

• Previous experience in special education or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and behavioral health concepts is beneficial.
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis techniques is essential for success in this role.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
• A commitment to continuous learning and professional growth within the field of behavioral therapy is expected.
