Bilingual Machine OperatorSurestaff is immediately hiring a Bilingual Machine Operator for a food manufacturing client in McCook, IL. The Bilingual Machine Operator is responsible for operating automated and semi-automated production equipment. Surestaff is invested in their team members!
All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $17.00/hr. As well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).Available shifts include: 2nd Shift: 3pm-11pmResponsibilities of the Bilingual Machine Operator:Able to be punctual and follow the production schedule and shift times as given by the supervisorAssure that crew reports to the line on schedule and ready to work. Report any absentee or tardiness to the supervisorAble to follow all posted GMPs and safety recommendations in accordance to the production roomAssure proper line clearance after every run to ensure success for the next runAble to operate all machines and be cross trained on all production roomsAble to lift up to 50lbs periodicallyContinuously monitor all quality, safety and quantity recommendation aspects of the operationCheck to make sure all components and tasks of the manufacturing process are accurately following the associated Manufacturing InstructionsMaintain a clean and sanitized area clear of any safety or quality hazardsProactively schedule additional tasks for employees in case of intermittent downtimeAt the end of each run, ensure that all components are properly reconciled in the system and physically put awayEnsure that the tools are used in accordance to allergen rules and recommendationsRequired Qualifications of the Bilingual Machine Operator:Able to complete LOTO(Lock-Out/Tag-Out) training prior to be trained on the production lines.Able to operate all machinery and provide training to new employees when necessaryProficient verbal and written communication skills in English AND SpanishAble to demonstrate good leadership skillsAt Surestaff, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
