Bilingual Japanese/English Warehouse General Manager (Freight Forwarding)(CA/YM)

A freight forwarding company is seeking a Bilingual Japanese/English Warehouse General Manager to join their team in Torrance, CA . This position is responsible for overseeing the entire Warehousing Division including the Customer Service and the Warehousing Operation Department. An associate degree or higher, over 5 years of related experience and the ability to speak, read, and write Japanese is required. The ability to speak Spanish is a plus. This is a full-time, in person, exempt, position with excellent benefits, including 401k, plus bonus.

Bilingual Japanese/English Warehouse General Manager Skills:

• Provides management guidance and supervision
• Develops operations policies and standards
• Develops and presents reports to Senior Management
• Visits current and expected new customers
• Prepares budget for sales and gross profit per customer for each period as requested
• Prepares invoices to customers
• Sets up and updates standard operation procedures (SOPs)
• Prepares monthly warehouse performance forecasts
• Organizes and oversees all warehouse operations on a continuous basis
• Oversees recruiting, hiring, terminations and other HR related actions

Bilingual Japanese/English Warehouse General Manager Duties:

• Must have an associate degree or higher
• Must have over 5 years of related experience
• Must speak, read, and write Japanese
• Ability to speak Spanish is a plus
• Proficiency in MS Office
