Avient Hr GeneralistAvient is seeking a forward thinking, business-minded HR Generalist to support our Color & Additives Business. Based in Arizona, this role supports two primary manufacturing sites and requires regular on-site presence to build strong relationships with leaders and employees.
The role also partners across the broader region and requires flexibility to travel in support of additional sites, business initiatives, and HR projects.The HR Generalist serves as a key partner to the business, supporting the execution of HR strategies that drive organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and talent outcomes. This role balances day-to-day HR support with opportunities to contribute to broader initiatives, while ensuring a consistent, compliant, and high-quality employee experience. This role requires fluency in both Spanish and English to effectively support and engage with the workforce.ResponsibilitiesPartner with site leaders and the HR Manager to deliver HR support aligned with business needsSupport HR execution across assigned manufacturing locations, including regular on-site engagementContribute to talent activities such as recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, and employee developmentBuild effective working relationships with site leaders and provide guidance on employee and organizational matters, escalating complex issues as neededSupport employee relations, performance management, and development processes at assigned sitesAdminister and ensure compliance with HR policies, labor laws, and company standardsUse HR data and insights (e.g., turnover, attendance, engagement) to support decision-making and action planningHelp implement HR initiatives and continuous improvement efforts in partnership with the broader HR teamChampion a safe, inclusive, and high ? accountability work environmentLead and support change initiatives that strengthen organizational effectivenessAbility to travel approximately 15% beyond routine site visits to support broader business initiatives, projects, or meetings.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsBachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience1–3+ years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or multi-site environmentFoundational knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, and employment lawsTech savvy with an interest in using systems to drive operational excellenceAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skillsFluency in Spanish and English requiredWillingness to travel and maintain regular on-site presence to support assigned locationsAbout UsOur purpose at Avient Corporation is to be an innovator of materials solutions that help our customers succeed, while enabling a sustainable world.Innovation goes far beyond materials science; it's powered by the passion, creativity, and diverse expertise of 9,000 professionals worldwide.
