HR Generalist (Bilingual)
📍 Lake Zurich, IL | Hybrid (4 Days Onsite, 1 Day Remote)
Our client, a growing manufacturing organization with 675+ employees and 300+ contingent workers, is seeking a Bilingual HR Generalist to support plant leadership and employees across a fast-paced operation. This is a highly visible role reporting to the Sr. HR Manager and offers the opportunity to help support a future expansion with a new facility opening in Mundelein.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a trusted HR business partner to managers and employees
- Manage employee relations matters, investigations, and corrective actions
- Support a workforce of full-time employees and temporary staff
- Coach leaders on performance management and difficult employee conversations
- Assist with terminations, compliance, leaves of absence, and policy interpretation
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning and organizational needs
- Support compensation, employee engagement, and HR initiatives
- Deliver training on HR policies, compliance, and people management best practices
- Maintain HRIS data integrity and reporting
What We're Looking For
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Experience in manufacturing HR required
- Strong employee relations and corrective action experience
- Ability to partner effectively with plant leadership
- Experience supporting large hourly workforces and temporary labor populations
- Knowledge of employment laws, compliance, and leave administration
Compensation
$85,000-$90,000 base salary + 8% annual bonus based on performance
