Bilingual Benefits Customer Service Representative

To support client members during the enrollment process, the full-time Seasonal Bilingual Benefits Customer Service Representative will assist Spanish or French-speaking customers with health care and pension plan updates, primarily working remotely while being based within 2 hours of Minneapolis for occasional office visits. Key Responsibilities Build rapport and respond compassionately to Spanish or French-speaking customers via phone, email, and instant messaging Safeguard confidential information in accordance with HIPAA and Data Privacy laws while translating complex plan information into simple explanations Document accurate call and case notes in English and maintain compliance with company procedures and guidelines Required Qualifications Excellent Spanish or French language skills with the ability to translate calls into grammatically correct English notes Experience in a customer service environment and proficiency in Microsoft Office High school diploma required; higher education is a plus Ability to work autonomously in a structured, self-paced environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess member concerns effectively
