Role Overview
Apply sophisticated legal expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through high-quality analysis, research, drafting, and evaluation of real-world legal materials. This remote contract opportunity is designed for lawyers with experience at one or more Vault Law 100 firms. Prior AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive legal analysis across a range of U.S. law topics and provide nuanced guidance.
- Perform in-depth legal research to support project objectives and ensure information is current and accurate.
- Draft, review, and edit legal memoranda, opinions, contracts, and other relevant documents.
- Provide structured feedback on legal content for clarity, accuracy, and alignment with legal best practices.
- Identify errors, inconsistencies, and ambiguities as part of legal content quality assurance.
- Collaborate remotely with multidisciplinary teams to refine deliverables and address complex legal scenarios.
- Maintain exceptionally high standards of precision and attention to detail in all submissions.
Qualifications
- Mandatory current or prior experience at one or more Vault Law 100 firms, including exposure to sophisticated, high-stakes legal matters.
- Strong legal analysis, legal research, and legal drafting capabilities across varied legal subjects.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience reviewing legal content.
- Experience collaborating remotely and contributing to multidisciplinary projects.
- Active license to practice law and strong academic credentials are preferred.
- Experience with quality assurance and rubric-based evaluation of legal documents is a plus.
- Demonstrated commitment to accuracy, precision, and legal best practices.
Work Terms
- Remote contract engagement.
Compensation
- $140 to $400 per hour.
