Big Data EngineerWe are looking for a big data engineer with Java/AWS experience. This is a hybrid role in Plano, TX, and is a W2 contract only.The ideal candidate will have a combination of Java and Python skills, with more emphasis on the Java side.
Experience with Spark, EMR, and Glue is required. Snowflake experience is a plus. The team is building a new platform for credit card data, and this is a great opportunity for new development. They are building two scrum teams to work on development for the platform.Must haves: very strong Java, experience working with large data sets, ETL, or applications that do high-volume data collection.
Experience with AWS – should have S3, EMR, and/or Glue. RDBMS – SQL. Nice to have: Python/PySpark, data lake experience, credit card application development experience, Snowflake, Terraform, GraphQL.
