BI Solution Architect - BI(Lead)Work with internal customers and technical resources to provide solutions to customer departments. Monitor Application processes(Nightly Batch processes and ad-hoc batch runs). Identify business requirements, prioritize work load, and manage customer expectations. Prioritize work efforts of self and of team.
Support BI applications built in traditional BI tools and custom-built applications. Develop Business Intelligence applications using Oracle BI/ODI/Informatica tools. Work with Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE), ODI - Oracle Data Integrator and Informatica as well as traditional database technologies (Oracle) and new technologies such as Hadoop (Cloudera). Interact with business customers at all levels and works with internal IS groups to troubleshoot and fix issues, move changes to production, and ensure projects are completed on-time and on-budget.
Ability to communicate and interact at all levels (IT, Development teams and Business). Ability to forecast and prioritize BI Application development. Liaise with Business and Functional team to define requirements and best practices of BI. Ability to work with BI Architects, BI developers, Data Warehouse Architects and Analysts.
Ability to understand Run, Build and Devops methodology.Minimum 10 years of experience within Oracle Business Intelligence tools (Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE), BI Publisher, Oracle BIApps - Financial Analytics, Project Analytics, Procurement Analytics and custom BI Applications or similar tools) Strong BI Architecture knowledge(BI techniques and Data Warehouse(Star schema) Modelling). Strong SQL query skills (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.) Strong DB performance tuning experience for (ETL - Data layer extract process or Report query performance). Learning Agility - Proven ability to pick up and learn new technologies and tools 5 years of experience with Oracle BIApps on ODI version Strong verbal and written communication skills Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organization and planning skills Analytical and problem solving ability Able to work independently and with a team Ability to multi-taskOBIEE 11G and BIAPPS(11.1.1.8.1) Financial Analytics, Project Analytics and Procurement Spend).
