This individual is expected to be independently productive, technically strong, and capable of driving outcomes without hand-holding.This role carries higher expectations than typical Data Analyst positions.Required:Advanced SQL (Expert Level)Proven experience optimizing complex queries at scaleStrong understanding of query execution plans and performance tuningPythonHands-on experience with data processingExperience working in Databricks / PySparkTableauAbility to build dashboards independently (no training expected)Self-Starter / Outcome DrivenMotivated problem solverAble to work independently and take ownershipProactively communicates risks and blockersJob description:Independently design, write, optimize, and maintain high-performance SQL queriesQueries will process millions of records dailyMust determine the most optimal query approach without guidanceDevelop, modify, and maintain Python-based data processing scriptsWork within Databricks / PySpark environments to:Decide when to process data in Spark vs. PandasAvoid sub-optimal data handling approachesBuild and maintain Tableau dashboards for analytical insightsProactively identify data issues, performance bottlenecks, and risksBring problems to the manager proactively, rather than waiting to be askedFully support all existing team data workflows and functionalities
