BI Analytics Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analytics Engineer / BI Developer to join our growing analytics organization. This role is ideal for someone who is equally passionate about building elegant, executive-facing dashboards and designing the underlying data models that power them using Omni Analytics of Looker

What You'll Do

Dashboard Development & Data Visualization

• Design and build visually compelling dashboards for executive and customer-facing audiences.
• Create intuitive metric cards, KPI scorecards, custom visualizations, drill-down experiences, and interactive reporting solutions.
• Translate complex business requirements into simple, impactful visual stories.
• Optimize dashboard usability, performance, and adoption.
• Partner with business stakeholders to define meaningful metrics and reporting experiences.
• Deliver dashboards that are embedded within applications and customer-facing platforms.

Data Modeling & Analytics Engineering

• Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, physical, dimensional, and semantic data models.
• Build scalable analytics layers that power dashboards and self-service reporting.
• Develop fact and dimension models optimized for reporting performance.
• Define and manage business metrics, measures, hierarchies, and relationships.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries and transformations.
• Partner with data engineering teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and scalability.

Required Qualifications

• 7-10 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, Data Modeling, or related disciplines.
• Strong experience building dashboards and analytical applications for business users and executives.
• Omni Analytics preferred, Looker would be secondary
• Proven expertise in dimensional modeling, star schemas, fact and dimension table design, and semantic modeling.
• Experience designing end-to-end analytical solutions from data source through visualization.
• Strong understanding of reporting performance optimization and dashboard best practices.
• Pay 80-100/hr
