Beverage General Manager Requirements & Qualifications

• Five to seven years of restaurant management and supervision experience in a fine dining setting preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
• ServSafe and RAMP certifications required
• Full working knowledge of POS systems
• Knowledge of approved Responsible Gaming Program
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as required
• Strong mathematical skills including budgeting and profit/loss analysis

Beverage General Manager Preferred Background & Skills

• Ability to analyze and interpret beverage operation results
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to perform duties under pressure
• Knowledge of sanitation laws, health regulations, and OSHA standards
• Capability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment with accuracy and timeliness

Beverage General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily beverage operations, including training managers and hourly staff
• Maintain beverage inventories and enforce quality control standards
• Ensure compliance with all liquor, gaming, and safety regulations
• Control labor and beverage costs to achieve budgeted revenues and maximize profitability
• Maintain company operating standards and professional conduct reflecting brand values
• Respond to guest feedback to enhance experience and future sales opportunities
• Extend complimentary services within approved guidelines and perform other duties as assigned

• This role requires physical stamina for long hours, standing, climbing stairs, and handling objects up to 50 pounds.
