Bethany Andres-Beck for Congress: Field OrganizerField Organizers will be responsible for recruiting volunteers for door to door canvassing, phone banking, and relational organizing.Working with the Deputy Campaign Manager (DCM) organizers will conduct outreach in their assigned areas to recruit and train volunteers and host canvasses. Volunteers will be recruited through attending community events, phone banking, and expanding existing volunteer infrastructure. Organizers will be given weekly goals that the DCM will work with them to exceed to ensure a growing program.Organizers will also be responsible for hosting non-canvassing events, maintaining relationships with community leaders, and regularly conducting door to door canvassing.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement all aspects of the voter contact program in assigned areasRecruit volunteers to conduct direct voter outreachHost canvass launches and non-canvass eventsMeet and exceed weekly goals to expand direct voter contactConduct door to door canvassing and phone bankingOtherAttend community events as a representative of the candidateCoordinate and forge relationships with local leaders and stakeholdersAttend and staff campaign events as neededOther duties as assignedQualificationsExperience in campaigns/advocacy as a staff member, intern, or volunteer is a plusHaving existing connections in Massachusetts 6th District/The North Shore is a plusThe ability to maintain a schedule and stay organized during busy periodsUsing strong interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with volunteers and stakeholders and work with diverse groups that you may not be a part ofA desire to elect progressives and leftists.The ability to relocate and work long, often atypical campaign hours.A car and a valid driver's license
