In order to participate in Berklee Student Employment, a student must fulfill the following requirements:
- Current student at Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee.
- Enrolled at least half-time in a degree, diploma, or certificate-seeking undergraduate or graduate program. Summer is the only semester in which a student can maintain employment without being enrolled. In this case, the student must be pre-registered for the upcoming fall semester. This exception does not apply to fall or spring semesters.
- Have a valid United States Social Security Number (SSN).
- Remain in "valid" Visa status as applicable.
- A minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA. Students in their first semester can work, even though they do not have an official GPA until the completion of their first semester.
- Federal Work Study student may apply.
- In good disciplinary standing.
- Must be located in the U.S.
The Office of Student Success Programs (SSP) plays a pivotal role in fostering campus-wide connections, community, and student achievement. Through the Berklee Scholars Program, the pre-orientation initiative aims to create an environment where students can access resources, develop leadership, engage with communities, and build relationships.
To deliver a highly collaborative experience for continuing students during the upcoming Pre-Orientation Program (Sunday, August 16 - Saturday, August 22), the office requires dedicated student leader support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Learns all material assigned by the Instructor
- Attend all ensemble rehearsals, sound checks, and performances on time and for the full duration.
- Keeps an open line of communication with the Performance Director throughout the week.
- Prepare assigned music before the first rehearsal.
- Arrive familiar with keys, tempos, cuts, vamps, and endings.
- Track musical changes made during rehearsals.
- Communicate quickly if music is missing or unclear.
All Berklee students are welcome to apply! To be eligible for the temporary student leadership position, applicants must:
- Attend in-person all ensemble and/or group rehearsals, and soundchecks led by the Instructor, Performance Director(s), and Producers during Pre-Orientation (Aug 16-22)
- Monday, August 17 - Thursday, August 21, 2026: Rehearsals from 2:30 - 5:30 PM
- Friday, August 22, 2026 at the BPC: Production Rehearsal, Dress Rehearsal, and Showcase from 10:45 AM - 9:30 PM
- Exact times and locations subject to change

- Must be in good disciplinary and academic standing
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Overall Audition Rating of 5 or higher
