Join our team as a Benefits Specialist, where you'll deliver outstanding customer service and support to a broad range of employee and retiree groups in the main areas of health, retirement, life insurance, disability leave management and other benefits. You will work and use multiple methods of communication to resolve issues and inquiries with accuracy, sensitivity, and compassion.Reporting directly to the Benefits Service Center Team Lead, you will work a hybrid schedule from our Pittsburgh, PA headquarters.PPG offers excellent Medical, Dental, & Vision Benefits; matching 401k+ retirement savings; and Paid Vacation, Holiday pay.Main Responsibilities:Support all benefit inquiries from participants with an important focus on delivering exceptional employee experienceGuide concerns or inquiries between employees/retirees and vendorsSupport the US Benefits Service Center by documenting inquiries and resolutions within the case management system and responding to email requestsPerform multiple administrative tasks including the distribution of materials, enrollment administration, data integrity reconciliation and report processingHandle the enrollment processes for all participants including guiding with selections and educating on any changesBe a point of contact for the vendor team managing the incoming callsHelp maintain company compliance with ERISA, COBRA and HIPAA; and any other department projects.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business requiredExperience working with computer systems such as Microsoft and Workday.0-2 years of professional experience in Human Resources or Benefits Administrations preferred; internship experience will be accepted in lieu of full-time experienceHow we work: At PPG, we bring teams together to accelerate collaboration and career development, with in-person work Monday through Thursday and the opportunity to work remotely on Flexible Fridays.
