Through our family of companies, we provide: physician services spanning the continuum of patient care revenue cycle management solutions performance improvement consulting We invite you to grow with us and help shape the future of health care.Qualifications:Strong work ethic - setting and achieving goalsDependable - consistent follow throughPositive attitude - creates a great work environmentSelf-motivated - works effectively with little directionTeam-oriented – works well with all internal and external customersEffective communicatorFlexible -- adapts quickly to change and pressureBachelor's degree (B.A.) from a 4-year college or university plus a minimum of two years' experience in benefits administration and or equivalent combination of education and experienceStrong organizational/time management skillsExperience working for a high volume, large multi-state employerStrong background administering FMLA, Leave of Absence, Health & Welfare, EAP COBRA, 401(k), ESPP and Workers compensation plansStrong knowledge and understanding of all benefit programs (e.g., Life, Disability, medical, dental, vision, FSA, HSA, 401(k), ESPP and Voluntary benefits)Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Office Suite with emphasis on MS ExcelExperience working with UNUM Absence Management services a plusResponsibilities:The Benefits Specialist is responsible for the benefit needs of employees in their assigned region.Maintain an in-depth understanding of all company-sponsored benefit programs and eligibility requirementsRespond (e-mail, phone) to employee inquiries regarding benefits questions, policies, procedures, and programs to ensure quick and courteous resolutionStrong background administering FMLA, Leave of Absence, Health & Welfare, EAP COBRA, 401(k), ESPP and Workers compensation plansUpdate Payroll/HRIS for employee mid-year benefit plan elections, deductions and EOI approvalsDevelop a strong working relationship with vendors to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely administration and delivery of excellent customer serviceAssist with the annual benefits open enrollmentInteract (in person, email and by phone) with employees and multiple third party administratorsProcess weekly 401(k) deferral, loan, and status changes from 401(k) providerPerform benefit gap analysesPerform other duties as assigned or requestedAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or veteran status.
