This includes employee support on health and welfare benefits enrollment and leave process. This role requires training across benefits and leave functions to ensure accurate administration, thorough documentation, and consistent system alignment.What You'll DoAssist with leave administration processes, which may include preparing/submitting standard leave documentsComply with and evaluate eligibility for various leave types, including ADA, FMLA, State, and Company LeavesAdminister benefits processes, including timely processing of enrollments, changes, and terminations, and preparing/submitting required documentsVerify employee documentation for benefits and leavesManage benefits and leave inboxes, providing prompt and professional responsesReconcile vendor reports and contribution files to ensure data accuracyMaintain alignment and updates across all HRIS, vendor, and tracking systems for benefit and leave transactionsSupport the implementation of new processes and continuous improvement initiativesGenerate and audit reports to validate employee data and benefit deductionsWhat We're Looking ForProficiency using Microsoft Suite (e.g, Excel, Word) and Google Workspace (e.g, Gmail, Docs) toolsFamiliarity with HRIS systems and reporting systems preferredAbility to maintain confidential and sensitive information in a professional mannerStrong attention to detail and customer service skills in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentAbility to multitask and prioritize daily, weekly, and monthly tasksExperience leveraging AI tools to transform static workflows into responsive, high-output processesFour Days in Office: Metropolis values in-person collaboration to drive innovation, strengthen culture, and enhance the Member experience.

The anticipated base pay for this position is $24.00 USD to $26.00 USD hourly. The actual base pay offered is determined by a number of variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location of residence and/or place of employment. Base salary is one component of Metropolis' total compensation package, which may also include access to or eligibility for healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a lucrative stock option plan, bonus plans, and more.
