Description:
As a Benefits Specialist, you will deliver outstanding customer service to a broad range of employee and retiree groups delivering support in the key areas of: health and welfare, retirement, life insurance, disability and other benefits. You work in a fast-paced team call center environment and use email and telephonic communications to resolve issues and inquiries with sensitivity, compassion and discretion! Key Responsibilities
• Act as a liaison between employees/retirees and vendors to problem-solve concerns or inquiries;
• Perform various administrative tasks including the distribution of materials, life event processing, enrollment administration, and report processing;
• Handle the enrollment processes for all participants including helping with selections and educating on any changes;
• Serve as an inquiry escalation lead to other Benefits Service Center team members
• Assist in maintaining company compliance with ERISA, COBRA and HIPAA; and any other department initiatives and projects.
Qualifications
• A HS Diploma/GED required, with a Bachelor's Degree in HR or Business preferred;
• 1-4 years of experience in human resources, employee benefits or customer/ employee service areas;
• Experience working with computer systems such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Workday.

Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
OT may be required during busy seasons (Open Enrollment periods in the Fall months) and for project help.
*The role is remote with possible occasional days in the office (1-2 times a month) - this may transition to more in office time in the coming months (depending upon COVID).
