Overview
The provider in this position is responsible for providing psychotherapy and medication evaluation and management to clients having mental health and substance use disorders under the supervision of consulting psychiatrist(s). Also provides evaluation, treatment planning and discharge planning services for consumers in psychiatric facilities. Functions within the scope of practice defined by state license and CCH Medical Staff bylaws.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychotherapy and medication evaluation and management to clients with mental health and substance use disorders under the supervision of consulting psychiatrist(s).
- Provide evaluation, treatment planning and discharge planning services for consumers in psychiatric facilities.
- Operate within the scope of practice defined by state license and CCH Medical Staff bylaws.
Qualifications
Education required: Graduate of a Psychiatric APN program from an accredited university; current IL License.
Compensation & Schedule
Role is full time, Monday through Friday. Pay begins at $58.82 per hour and increases with experience.
