Job Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and support to psychiatric patients under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
- Observe, monitor, and document patients' physical, emotional, and behavioral conditions.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Take and record vital signs and collect specimens as needed.
- Support therapeutic activities and encourage patient participation in treatment programs.
- Implement individualized patient care plans while maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.
- Communicate patient observations and concerns to the interdisciplinary treatment team.
- Assist with the orientation and training of new Behavioral Health Assistants when assigned.
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and required clinical training to maintain competency.
Minimum Qualifications

Current, valid, and unrestricted SC license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Behavioral Technician .

Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., . BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements ).
