nJob Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team in Flemington, NJ. In this vital role, you will work closely with an older (16 years old) individual with autism and implement individualized behavior intervention plans. n*Details: This is a 16 year old male that needs services Mon-Tue-Thu-Fri 2:30p-5:30p (12 hours a week). The RBT needs to be experienced with behaviors
nDuties
nImplement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support clients’ goals.
nAssist with activities of daily living (ADLs), to promote independence.
nCollect and record data on client behaviors and progress accurately to inform treatment plans.
nSupport teaching strategies that enhance communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors tailored to each individual’s needs.
nMaintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality and handling medical records responsibly.
nCollaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure consistent implementation of care plans.
nDocument all sessions thoroughly in medical documentation systems, including progress notes and behavior management reports.
nSkills
nStrong understanding of behavioral therapy principles and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
nExperience working with adults or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder.
nExcellent communication skills for teaching, explaining strategies, and collaborating with team members.
nAbility to collect, analyze, and interpret data related to behavior management and treatment outcomes.
nKnowledge of medical terminology, patient care practices, and medical documentation standards.
nCompassionate approach with patience and adaptability when working with diverse populations.
nFamiliarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
