LOCATION OF POSITION: Fairport NY 14450;Behavioral Health Services
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 10-Month Position, Full Time
START DATE: 09/08/2026
SALARY RANGE: $49,470 - $79,820 per school year
*Actual Salary Is Dependent Upon Education, Experience and Contract.
DUTIES:

Provide direct consultation to school staff, families, and administration regarding student behavior and environmental supports.

Conduct assessments of students (academic, behavioral, social, etc.).

Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and develop, maintain, and coordinate all aspects of Behavior Intervention Plans.

Attend and present at a variety of meetings (BIP reviews, PLCs, faculty, CSE, etc.).

Provide training to professional and non-professional staff related to evidence-based behavioral intervention for students with a variety of disabilities.

Participate in team meetings to assist in planning and curriculum development.

Provide crisis support or direction to school team and families when needed.

Collection and analysis of behavioral data.

Establish positive rapport and effectively collaborate with students, school staff, parents/guardians, and district representatives.

Stay current with certifications and research in the field.

Abide by Monroe One BOCES policies and procedures.

Other duties assigned by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Master's Degree from an accredited college in Special Education, School Psychology, Social Work, or closely related field and certified in NYS to practice in a school setting required.

Professional or Permanent NYS Certification in any of the tenure areas mentioned in #1.

A minimum of five (5) years of experience working with students with disabilities desired.

Training and experience in Applied Behavioral Analysis; Board Certification (BCBA) or willing to pursue (significant progress toward BCBA must be completed prior to end of probationary period).

Working knowledge of Federal and State Special Education policies and procedures.

Knowledge of NYS Standards.

Physically able to perform essential functions of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation).
