You'll conduct assessments, design treatment plans, and provide training and consultation to help individuals build meaningful skills and reduce challenging behaviors.
You'll also work closely with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure that treatment plans are practical, culturally appropriate, and goal oriented.Responsibilities Include:Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and skill-based assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS, AFLS)Develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programDesign data collection systems and monitor treatment effectivenessDeliver behavioral consultation and training to caregivers, staff, and collateral providersCollaborate with schools, IEP/IFSP teams, and other support systemsDocument all services clearly and submit progress notes and treatment plans in a timely mannerProvide modeling and coaching to caregivers and team members on intervention strategiesWho You Are:Master's Degree in a mental health field (required)BCBA certification or eligibility within one year (preferred)At least 2 years of experience in behavior analysis, including functional assessments and plan developmentExperience working in home or community-based settings with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challengeExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skillsValid driver's license and reliable transportation (required)Must be 21 years of age or olderWe hire for Heart!Since 1938, BHN has delivered high-quality, culturally responsive behavioral health care, building deep roots in Western Massachusetts while expanding our impact in communities throughout the state.
