Beaming OperatorBeaming Operators create quality beams to send to the Weaving Department.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesKeep both the Weaving/Beaming Supervisor and Operation Manager informed of any problems or quality issues, helping to minimize ongoing defects.Maintain a clean and safe work area.Maintain and use basic tools of the job properly: safety glasses, ear plugs, scissors, etc.Performance ExpectationsAbility to lift 50 lbs.Capable of standing on concrete floor throughout shiftWalking, stooping and reaching over loom for long periods of timeMust be able to withstand working in a busy and hot environmentMust be hands-on and have a mechanical aptitudeExperience/Education RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.Must be able to read and write and do basic addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.Computer knowledge or data entry skills are a necessary part of the job.Must be able to operate a lift truck and complete necessary lift truck training.Other RequirementsOvertime is required on occasion.Perform any other duties as assigned.All accidents must be reported immediately.Do daily machine safety checklistResponsible for quality and safety of his/her own output.
