BCO Control Testing & Monitoring AnalystLocation: Jersey City, NJ Pay Rate: $62/hourPosition OverviewThe Business Control Office (BCO) plays a critical role in ensuring the implementation of consistent risk control frameworks and maintaining efficient risk controls. The Control Design and Monitoring function within BCO is responsible for developing and executing 1st-line control testing and monitoring programs.We are seeking a detail-oriented BCO Control Testing & Monitoring Analyst to support control testing and monitoring initiatives across the Americas Division. This role will help strengthen the control environment by assessing control effectiveness, identifying gaps, and recommending enhancements.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the establishment and execution of control monitoring routines to maintain a robust control environmentConduct control testing across multiple business units to ensure compliance with established policies and proceduresCollaborate with various business units to understand current processes and controls for effective testing and monitoringIdentify, document, and help remediate gaps or findings in controlsPerform process deep dives and root cause analysis to enhance control effectivenessDevelop process maps and supporting documentation for control assessmentsContribute to the design and execution of control effectiveness evaluations and assessmentsProvide insights and recommendations to improve operational processes and strengthen risk controlsRequired QualificationsProven experience in risk control, compliance, or internal audit within a financial services environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailExcellent communication skills to interact effectively with business units and stakeholdersAbility to document processes, findings, and recommendations clearlyExperience with process mapping, root cause analysis, or control design and testingKey Skills & CompetenciesRisk and control assessmentProcess documentation and mappingControl testing and monitoringRoot cause analysisCross-functional collaborationAttention to detail and accuracyStrong analytical and problem-solving mindset
