Join Lakeland Behavioral Health System as the Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) and help lead one of the region's premier adolescent residential treatment programs. PURPOSE STATEMENT:The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) provides quality ABA services to the patients on theSpecialty Pediatric Unit. In addition, the BCBA serves as the professional who develops and implementsongoing services to the staff.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Assist in the implementation of ABA programming on the Specialized Pediatric UnitProvides supervision to the Registered Behavior Technicians and Behavioral Health AssociatesTrains new staff on ABA techniquesKeeps abreast of advances in treatment and sets appropriate goals for self-improvementFacilitates daily team meetingsAttends staff meetings as required and completes all yearly mandatory in-servicesProvides direct services to the patients on the Specialized Pediatric UnitConducts the appropriate assessments including ADOS and other specific assessments in atimely mannerParticipates in performance improvement activitiesFollows all hospital policies and proceduresMust maintain license or certification in good standingFlexible schedule. Possible weekends or evenings when appropriateEmployee will be required to perform other job related duties as assigned by their supervisorOTHER FUNCTIONS:Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
