Mar-Val Food Stores is looking for a Deli Clerk to tend the BBQ in the heart of Valley Springs!

This is a part-time position with the opportunity for part-time benefits including employee discount, vacation pay, holiday pay, medical, dental and life insurance, and 401K with up to 10% Company matching!!

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meats, vegetables, and other items on grills, smokers, and open flames according to established recipes and techniques.
• Monitor cooking temperatures and times to ensure food is cooked safely and to the desired level of doneness.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cooking station, including proper storage of ingredients and sanitation of tools and equipment.
• Manage inventory of barbecue supplies and communicate needs for replenishment to management.
