As a Climate Positive company, we restore more than 100% of its carbon, water, and energy use back to the earth, in our four manufacturing facilities right here in the USA.We have an immediate opening for Batchmaker to ensures the safe, quality, and consistent mixing of all production batches based upon orders received and stock levels.Key Job Functions:Following batch making schedule and making all liquids necessary to fulfill ordersTaking all batch samples with corresponding batch sheet to Chemist for quality controlReporting all problems and concerns with new and existing formulas to ChemistPerforming quality control in the lab as required to back-up Chemist and/or Lab TechnicianKeeping all raw materials properly labeled and stored and in their proper locationEnsuring that all batch tanks, drums, pails, and lab samples are properly identified and labeledProviding Purchasing with a weekly requisition for raw materials to be orderedReporting equipment breakdowns immediately to Plant ManagerRequesting all items needed to successfully perform job to Plant ManagerEnsuring housekeeping including a clean, organized batch area, in compliance with all safety regulationsRelocating chemicals received according to Deacom mapHandling other special projects and requests, as neededRequirements:High school diploma/GEDForklift CertifiedFamiliarity with chemical blending, along with ability to follow product formula instructions and understand Safety Data Sheets.Ability to safely lift bottles, boxes, tools, equipment, and other necessary itemsAbility to multi-taskAbility to manage time effectivelyDetail oriented with the ability to read, comprehend, and follow instructionsStarting Pay $23/hrWhy join the ECOS Team:Comprehensive group insurance including medical, dental, vision, short and long term disability, and supplemental insurance plans including accident and critical illness401k with company matchPaid vacationIL paid leaveTen paid holidays per year including your birthdayPaid parental bonding leaveSustainability incentives for purchasing eco-friendly carWellness programs and incentivesEqual Opportunity Employer/minority/female/disability/veteran
